Love reading your blog not because how dramatic the journey was, but because they provide every detail which can be more practical than a guide book.<br />As for the big white bag, I suspect it's the maintenance material (treated timber, metal pole, concrete, etc.) dropped by National Park authorities - by a helicoptor.
